This is one of the most comfortable matte formulas I've had the good fortune to encounter. The pigmentation is opaque, and the lipstick's texture, while undeniably matte, is pleasantly smooth. Staying power is admirable, especially considering how comfortably the color wears. As for the color [of the shade "Mastermind"], it's a clear vibrant red with that hint of warmth that keeps it looking red, not pink, on NW15 me. It doesn't look orange, either - just red-hot RED. Perhaps best of all, Mastermind is cruelty-free and reasonably priced. The sparkly silver tube is sturdy and decorative, though not "high-end." All things considered, Mastermind ranks high among my numerous red lipsticks.
