Quality Control Requirements for Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen (LSZH)

31 Jul.,2025

LSZH Insulation Materials: For first-time suppliers or new materials from approved suppliers, conduct a type test on the initial sample.Subsequent five deliveries require batch sampling inspection .Upon passing five consecutive inspections, transition to alternate-batch sampling.

Quality Control Requirements for Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen (LSZH)

1.Sampling Frequency for Approved Suppliers

LSZH/Low-Halogen Flame-Retardant Insulation

● Materials: Monthly sampling inspection for materials with stable performance (no quality-related returns within one year).

● Low-Smoke Sheathing Materials: Alternate-batch sampling inspection for materials with stable performance (no quality-related returns within one year).

2. Testing Protocols for New or Initial Suppliers

● LSZH Insulation Materials: For first-time suppliers or new materials from approved suppliers, conduct a type test on the initial sample.Subsequent five deliveries require batch sampling inspection .Upon passing five consecutive inspections, transition to alternate-batch sampling.

● Low-Smoke Sheathing Materials:  Perform batch sampling inspection for all initial deliveries. After five consecutive qualified inspections, transition to alternate-batch sampling.

3. Non-Conformance Handling

If any LSZH insulation or sheathing materia fails inspection during sampling:  Revert to the initial supplier sampling protocol ( resume batch-by-batch inspection).

4.Documentation Requirements

Each batch of LSZH insulation or sheathing material must be accompanied by the supplier’s material quality certificate or test report.Type Test: Comprehensive testing to validate material specifications. Alternate-Batch Sampling: Inspection conducted on every other batch.Batch Sampling: Inspection performed on every delivered batch. LSZH: Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen (flame-retardant properties with minimal toxic emissions). This protocol ensures compliance with quality standards while optimizing inspection efficiency for stable suppliers.
