The company has a group of cooperation teams engaged in the Electric Bicycle industry for many years, with dedication, innovation spirit and service awareness, and has established a sound quality control and management system to ensure product quality.

Electric bikes are excellent for your health, whether used for commuting or just for fun, as they improve cardiovascular fitness, brain function and help you maintain a healthy weight.

Riding a bike is one of the best ways to get plenty of exercise and fresh air.

Improve Your Heart Health

Studies have shown that bicycling is associated with better heart health.

In a five study with 264,337 participants, researchers at the University of Glasgow found a link between biking to work and a lower risk of premature death. In addition, cycling about 30 miles a week was found to reduce the risk of heart disease significantly.

The risk of adverse health outcomes was substantially lower when cyclists cycled all or part of the way to work. For example, over five years, those who cycled the entire distance to work had a 40 per cent lower risk of cancer, heart disease, and overall mortality.

Thus, assuming that regularly riding a bicycle or electric bike (perhaps 30 miles per week) is like riding a bike to work, it will follow that regularly riding – whether to work or not – can improve heart health specifically and overall health in general. Moreover, studies have linked even brief periods of activity to reduced heart disease risk.

Strengthen Your Cardiovascular System

Several clinical studies suggest that riding an electric bike a few times each week can improve an adult’s cardiorespiratory performance and overall health in ways similar to riding a conventional bicycle or taking vigorous walks.

One of the most telling studies, published in the May 2018 edition of Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine, measured the peak oxygen uptake (VO2 max) of 32 overweight adults before and after four weeks of bicycling commuting.

Cycling has been found to be one of the best cardio exercises for people of all ages and body types. It also helps build stamina, burn calories, keep weight in check, and increase muscle and bone strength.

Cycling is low impact exercise and soft on the joints. Unlike other forms of exercise, it doesn’t put you at risk of overuse injuries or sprains and is ideal for people who have arthritic joints.

Boost Your Immune System

According to research published in The Journal of Applied Physiology, an adult who rides an electric bike regularly may reduce their risk of developing an upper respiratory tract infection by 29 per cent compared to adults who don’t exercise.

Researchers at the University of California-San Diego proved that just 20 minutes of exercise adjusted to your fitness level boosts your immune system.

Lower Your Risk of Type-2 Diabetes

University of Bristol researchers studied the effects of riding an electric bike on people with type-2 diabetes. During the study’s 20 weeks, the 18 participants rode their electric bikes an average of 13 miles a week.

Over the course of the study, the subjects’ predicted maximal aerobic power increased by 10.9%. In addition, the subjects reached 74.7 per cent of their maximum heart rate by riding an electric bike compared to 64.3% when walking.

The study concluded that riding an electric bike may help reduce the risks associated with type-2 diabetes and may even play a role in remission associated with weight loss.

Lose Weight

As just mentioned, regular cycling, be it on a conventional bike or an eBike, can contribute to weight loss and improve general health and well being. In addition, most health experts agree that a few 45-minute vigorous workouts per week could help you shed a pound of fat every two weeks.

Mindfulness

According to a report from the U.K.’s cycleBOOM project, riding an electric bike just a few times a week can improve brain function in people 50 and older, potentially reducing the risk of Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, and other age-associated neurological disorders.

For someone over 60, it’s not necessary to do high-impact running to improve their brain health. In fact, riding an electric bike either for recreation or essential commutes can improve brain function.

Get Better Sleep

It has been shown that regular exercise, such as riding an electric bike, can also help improve sleep and fight insomnia. One long-term study found that people who exercise regularly fall asleep faster than sedentary subjects. Exercising also reduced the likelihood of waking up during the night.

In a University of Georgia study, adults who exercised less complained more about sleep problems.

Reduce Stress

People who exercise regularly will tell you how much better they feel. According to experts, this is because the brain produces chemicals called neurotransmitters during exercise. As neurotransmitters are thought to influence moods and emotions, they can help you feel better and less stressed, states the American Council on Exercise.
