1. Customers' demands
We know more about customers’ demands through communication.

2. Quotation proposal
The offers will be provided after customers’ demands are confirmed.

3. Order confirmation
Purchasing orders are received and confirmed by sales representatives after the offer is accepted by customers.

4. Purchasing
We start purchasing the corresponding materials after orders are confirmed and inform the production staff of following up the status of incoming materials.

5. Incoming inspection/material inventory
The weight of metal cases has to be measured and recorded. The dimensions are randomly inspected according to the drawing of each product before transferring to the next process. If the inspection is not qualified, the metal cases will be returned to the suppliers for improvement. A part of qualified metal cases has to be processed such as grinding. We will after that apply bonding agent on the metals.
When the rubber arrives, the date, name of rubber, rubber code and batch number have to be recorded in system for further tracking. The colors of rubber have to be checked with sample for each batch and inspected in lab for certification. The use of rubber compound is based on the principle of First In, First Out. The barcode, batch number, QC qualified, and expired date have to be shown on the label before storage.

6. Production plan
The staff at production department will arrange tooling, molding machines and time of manufacturing when the materials are all ready.

7. Molding
When the tools and fixtures are ready, the molding time, temperature and pressure will be set up for trial. Then the operator execute first article inspection to make sure that the dimensions, seal type, marking, colour and appearance are corresponding to the specification. When the first articles are considered qualified, the molding process for batch production can be started.

8. Post Cure
A part of seals need to proceed with post cure to strengthen the adhesive. The setting of temperature and time is different for various rubber compounds. The finished parts have to be removed from the oven for cooling down after post cure.

9. Trimming / Assembly
The operators choose the appropriate fixtures, knives, speed and distance based on the size of seals for trial of trimming. After trial, the finished parts will be measured based on the drawing to make sure that the dimensions are all within tolerance before trimming process of each batch.
Some seals are combined with two (or more) components. The machines have to be adjusted before trial and measurement has to be done after the assembly.

10. Inspection of finished Parts
Random measurement and appearance check are necessary before shipment. The OD, ID, height and lip dimensions are all measured and recorded for future tracking.

11. Packing
Product part numbers, types, dimensions and color must be checked before packing. The packing way can be based on customers’ requirements. If there is no other specified, we use CHO standard packaging (plastic bags or paper wrap).

12. Shipping.

Oil Seal Manufacturing Process

The oil seal manufacturing process involves numerous phases and stages in the sequence of producing a finished seal.

The elastomer material (has innate properties of natural rubber) is the critical element for oil seal production.

We consider significant environmental factors in our oil seal manufacturing process:

Reliable Chemical Resistance
Strength and Durability to Low Temperature and Heat
Ability to withstand Weather Aging and Ozone
Outstanding Water Resistance
Superior Elasticity
Low Compression Set Maintaining Elastomeric Properties
Cost of Raw Materials for Units of Production

Our base polymer provides alkali, acid, oil and wear resistance. Maximum temperature limits are contingent upon other conditions of operation.

For a range of sealing requirements and specifications, we provide a number of compounds and shapes from which to choose for your discrete sealing circumstances.

Oil Seal Making Process

We first review your old seal, measure with gauges or calipers to match materials to create your new seal. Size is verified (old to new) using our computer models. Your seal type is confirmed and the size is entered into our high-tech computer program. Material is confirmed as we prepare it for mounting onto a metal template for securing into our lathe. This machine rotates the material on its axis to perform the cutting operation for your new seal. The seal data is subsequently transferred from the computer to the lathe’s computer. Our highly skilled technicians check the cutting tools, start the lathe machine and cut your new seal. To conclude our process, and for accuracy in manufacturing, the new seal is compared to the old seal. The entire seal process takes only a few minutes to accomplish.

Advantages For You When Choosing Us

Our seal making machines use the latest Computer Numerical Control (CNC) system for accuracy. The PC-based controllers are founded on motion controlling devices with flexibility.

If we cannot make a matching seal for your system from our 150,000 machine seals, we will gladly return your money.

Be assured that our quality control is monitored by our professional staff constantly until the seals are shipped.

With over 50 years of industry experience in oil seal manufacturing, our mission is to provide standard, special, and unique seals for your machines or applications.
