Solid endmill holders are ideal for heavy duty milling applications, such as the high speed roughing of steels. They cost less than all other types of holders, provide
better holding security than collet chucks, are easily balanced, and are available in very short lengths for maximum spindle rigidity.
Glacern endmill holders are hardened to 55 HRC, electroless nickel-plated, precision ground to an internal bore concentricity of less than 0.0001".
Our holders are available in various lengths for endmills between 3/16" and 1-1/4" in diameter, and in two lengths (1.75" short and 4.0" long). For endmills smaller than 1/2",
ER collet chucks can be used.
