The Difference Between Vertical Injection Molding Machine and Horizontal Molding Machine-TAIFU MACHINERY

13 Dec.,2023

The biggest difference between vertical injection molding machine and horizontal machine lies in the design layout of machines. Vertical machine occupies relatively small area, but the height of machine has certain requirements for the height of a factory. Horizontal machines are very long and require a large area, but the height of machines is relatively low, which will reduce the height requirements of the factory.

Vertical injection molding machines usually need to use lifting platform or small forklift when switching moulds, while horizontal machines can be lifted and switched by driving. Horizontal machines are slightly better at rapidly changing dies. In the aspect of die structure, due to different gravity, multi-slider structure appearing on horizontal machine is seldom used in vertical injection moulding. The corresponding structure of vertical machine usually uses cylinder for core pulling, which is more stable.

Vertical injection molding machines are widely used in the injection molding of wire-encapsulated products, such as connecting wires, various electronic data wires and power plug wires. The characteristics of vertical injection molding machine can produce relatively stable linear products and improve the stability of forming.
